There are many benefits of PMTA membership! PMTA members network, share teaching ideas, attend monthly meetings, and enjoy social events. Members are informed about concerts, workshops, conferences, etc. Members are advertised on the PMTA website as well as in newspaper ads, flyers, etc. PMTA members can also perform at meetings, in the February Fantasy concert, and other events.  

Outreach activities include the Parkland Music Festival and the Gala. The festival is open to musicians in the greater Edmonton area. The Gala showcases some of the festival performers -- including scholarship winners. PMTA discounts include venue rentals, ads, and concerts. PMTA members are Arts advocates. We raise the profile of music in our community.
